A small waterfront town built around the Boardwalk and the marina — we install holiday lighting for the homes and businesses that make Kemah what it is.

Kemah is one of the smallest cities we serve, with a population estimated anywhere from about 1,800 to 2,850 depending on the source, and it punches well above its size as a destination. The name comes from a Karankawa word meaning "facing the winds," and the city started as a fishing village before growing into what's now the third-largest boating center in the country, nicknamed the "Gateway to the Bay." The Kemah Boardwalk itself — a 60-acre entertainment complex on Galveston Bay and Clear Lake with a 400-slip marina and a lighthouse and gazebo overlook — is the defining landmark, and it's hard to talk about Kemah without starting there.
Beyond the Boardwalk, Waterford Harbor is a gated, marina-front community dating to 1994 with a mix of townhomes, single-family homes, and waterfront estates, and Cien Park adds a smaller public green space. A new 57-acre nature park and wetlands boardwalk broke ground in September 2024, adding to the city's already water-centered identity. Gated communities like Waterford Harbor mean we coordinate access in advance so an installation day goes smoothly, rather than showing up unannounced at the gate.
Kemah's holiday season looks a little different from its neighbors, and that fits a town built around the water. The Kemah Boardwalk's Christmas Boat Parade, a long-running tradition through the Clear Creek Channel featuring hundreds of decorated boats, is the centerpiece, alongside "Jingle on the Boardwalk" with Santa, music, and a toy drive, a "Cocoa & Cookies Stroll," and holiday movie nights. It's a genuinely tourist-facing holiday season as much as a residential one, which means Kemah properties — especially those visible from the water or near the Boardwalk itself — often get more foot and boat traffic past them than a typical residential street.
Every service we offer is available anywhere in Kemah, from waterfront estates in Waterford Harbor to businesses near the Boardwalk.

A home visible from Clear Creek Channel during the Christmas Boat Parade or from the Boardwalk itself is being seen from an angle most residential lighting isn't designed for, and we take that into account when we plan a Kemah installation. Waterfront and marina-front properties also come with their own access and structural considerations that a typical inland home doesn't, and Waterford Harbor's gated status is something we plan around rather than treat as an afterthought.
Kemah's small size doesn't mean less attention — if anything, a town this compact and this visible means a well-lit property stands out even more, and a poorly maintained one is just as noticeable. We plan Kemah installations with that visibility in mind from the start, not as an afterthought once the lights are already up.
Yes, including nearby residential and commercial properties. The Boardwalk itself is privately run, but we regularly work with homes and businesses around it.
Yes. We install in Waterford Harbor and Kemah's other waterfront and marina-front properties.
Not at all. Kemah is a regular part of our route despite its small size, and we treat every property there the same as anywhere else.
All six: residential and commercial installation, palm and general tree lighting, event lighting, and yard displays and decor rentals.
From our League City home base, we regularly serve Friendswood, Dickinson, Santa Fe, Seabrook, Webster, Pearland, Clear Lake, and more. See the full service area for the complete list.
